The White salty softy dumplings are a beautiful munch while cold winter with their beautiful hot evapours capturing your eyesight and the awesome aura filling your nostrils.
They are very simple to be cooked in just an hour.
Time Taken - 1 hour
Serves - 6
Ingredients Required :
All Purpose Flour - 250 gm
Salt - 1 tsp
Water enough to make dough.
Oil to grease.
Method :
Mix the dry ingredients and slowly pour in water and knead into a medium thick dough. Grease the dough and keep closed for a rest time of 30 minutes.
Stuffing :
Your preferred vegetables. My option were some Carrots, Potato and Onion.
Chop them finely.
Into a heated pan, add 2 tbsp. butter and toss the vegetables.
Season them with salt and pepper to taste and saute for 5 minutes.
They should be mushy and as well cooked ( partially also is enough as anyways they gonna get steamed for 15 minutes ).
As a Momo :
Spread the dough balls, fill in the stuffing, arrange your preferred pattern decoration, and steam them for 15 minutes.
Momo Dip :
Boil 1 Tomato and few red chillies.
Into a heated wok, add 1 tbsp. butter, season finely chopped garlic, and onion.
Add in the boiled tomato ( take away the tomato skin ) and red chillies.
Grind to a fine puree.
