Neer Dosa


The Neer Dosa was in my wish list of cooking for many months. With lots of enthusiasm I decided to go hands on with the recipe and was fortunate enough to taste the slippery, shiny Neer Dosa.






Items Required :

Rice - 2 cups
Coconut - 3/4th cup
Salt - as per reqd

Method :

Soak the rice in enough water for almost 5 hours.
Grate the coconut.
Grind into a fine paste of the rice and coconut together.


The batter needs to be very watery. ( like the flow of milk )
Heat up a tawa, wipe off with enough oil, and just pour a laddle of the loose batter.
Close the tawa with a lid.
Need not flip back the dosa.
Once the dosa gets cooked, fold into a triangle pattern.


The dosa will get cooked in few secs, will be very slippery and shiny.
Enjoy with hot sambar, peanut chutney....
