This is a very heavy evening snack, which would be highly liked by children and a great supplement snack after school hours.
Ingredients Required :
Poha - 1 Cup
Potato - 1 Medium Size
Coreander Leaves - handful
Green Chillies - 1
Salt
Coreander Powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - a pinch
Method :
Wash the aval properly and soak them for 1 minute.
Allow them to soften.
Add in the salt, chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, green chillies.
Mix well.
Boil the potato and smash well along with the aval mixture.
Mash them properly and knead to a soft dough
Make small balls, and fry them in hot oil until golden in color.
