The murungai keerai leaves act as complimentary portion on the Adai.
Ingredients Required :
1 Cup White Rice Batter ( To soak 1 cup rice overnight and grind them to a fine paste the next day )
1/4 Cup Murungai Keerai leaves
Salt to taste
Oil enough to grease the adai.
Serves : 2 people
Method :
Add enough salt and water into the white rice batter. The batter need to be watery.
Heat the dosa tawa, and spread a ladle of batter onto the tawa. Sprinkle enough oil to grease them.
Now go ahead to sprinkle the washed murungai keerai leaves on of the adai.
Toss them to the other side until the murungai keerai gets roasted and as well the adai gets cooked thoroughly.
Now the highly flavoured murungai keerai adais are all ready to munch on.
Goes well with Dosa Podi / Pickle of your choice .
My Tip : I generally use the dosa rice to prepare the adai batter. And I grease the adai with gingelly oil.
