Yet another thuvyal variety with Keerai as the Main portion.
Any Keerai of your choice is welcome !!
Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 7 to 8 minutes

Ingredients Used :
Chana Dal - 2 tbsp
Urad Dal - 2 tbsp
Tamarind - small gooseberry sized
Jaggery - 1 tbsp
Coconut - 2 tbsp
Keerai - a bunch
Hing - 1 tbsp
Red Chillies - 2
Steps :
Heat a kadai and add few tbsp of refined oil.
Once the oil heats up add the chana dala. Just when the chana dal turns color add in the urad dal.
Next goes in the tamarind, chillies, coconut and jaggery and hing in that order.
Saute for few seconds.
Now add in the thoroughly washed Keerai.
Fry until the keerai leaves all its moisture and gets towards a slight crispy texture.
Let the mixture cool and grind to a coarse rough consistency without adding water.
They are excellent side touch dish for a Curry Rice.. or a Variety Rice or even for Dosa / Chapathi..
