Chat Idlis


A general try of a mix of handful of my kitchen items to make my regular Mini Idlis into a sizzling ' Carry Box ' snack..

 Ingredients :

Idli Batter - 1 bowl
Red Chilli Sauce - 1 tbsp
Kasoori Methi Leaves - 1 tsp crushed
Salt - to taste
Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
Chatpata Chat Masala Powder - 1/4 tsp

Method :
  1. Mix all the ingredients into the Idli batter.
  2. Steam them for appropriately 5 to 8 minutes.
  3. De - mould them once they are warm.  
  4. Toss them slightly for 2 sec with crushed peppercorns.
 
 
They are just ready to munch on. Coupled with some Hari chutney / Imli chutney they taste outstanding !!!
