A new twist to all the piled up methi in my fridge : -)
Ingredients :
1 cup peas ; 1 cup fresh methi leaves ( chopped )
1 tbsp oil ; 1 tbsp chilli garlic paste
1 tbsp butter ; 1 tbsp almond paste
1 tsp cornflour ( mixed in a little milk )
1/2 cup Milk ; salt , pepper ( to taste )
Method :
- In a microwave safe dish add oil, methi leaves and chilli garlic paste and microwave for 2 - 3 min. at 100 % power level.
- Add peas to it and microwave covered at 100 % power for 3 - 4 min. Stir it,
- To this add butter, almond paste, salt , pepper, cornflour and milk. Mix well and microwave ( covered ) at 80 % power for 5 - 6 min. Stir in between. 2 - 3 min of standing time is given.
Garnish with fresh cream.
- Serve with hot paranthas , poori etc.,,
