After a long time, I had an oppurtunity to purchase the Bajji Chilli. And the chill weather added to the glamor of the bulgy spicy chilli bajjis.
Requirements :
Bajji Chilli - As many numbers you would require
Besan Flour - 1 cup
Salt - as required
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Perungayam Powder - 1/2 tsp
Tamarind - small size
Method:
Slit the bajji chillies without seperating them fully.
Stuff in the tamarind ( small portion)
With the help of water, make a thick paste of the rest of the ingredients.
Dip the bajji chillis into the marinade and fry in hot oil.
Preferably Coconut oil, as they yield greater taste and wonderful aroma.
