Kollu Rasam


Aaaaahhhhhhhh!!! Kollu Rasam.... Tangy Soupy ..





Ingredients Required :

Horsegram - 1/2 cup
Tamarind - Small Lemon size
Curry Leaves - Few
Salt - as per taste
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Red Chillies - Few
Tomato - 1
Garlic - Few
Rasam Powder - 1 tbsp

Method :

Wash the horsegram thoroughly.
Add 1 and half cup water ito the horsegram.
Boil the horsegram with garlic, turmeric, salt and tomato.
Drain the horsegram water into the tamarind syrup.
Scoop away the tomato and garlic also into the tamarind syrup.
 Add your prefered rasam powder.
Keep in slow cooking for few minutes.
Garnish with seasoned mustard & curry leaves.
Sprinkle chopped coreander leaves.

Hot Horsegram rasam ready!!!!
