Not a NI side foodie.. though i always get tempted to try the colorful dhoklas whenever i see them.
This one is microwaved and do not require more than 9 minutes in total for you to hog them hot.
Required Items: For Dhokla
Besan Flour - 1/2 cup
Water - 1/2 cup
Curd - 1/2 cup
Salt - to taste
Lemon Juice - 2 tbsp
Green chillies - 2 chopped
Baking Powder - 1/2 tsp
Required Items : For Seasoning
Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Green Chillies - 2 chopped finely
Chilli Flakes - 1/2 tsp
Italian Herbs - 1/2 tsp
Method:
Mix all the ingredients mentioned under Dhokla.
Leave for 5 minutes.
Grease a flat oven safe dish.
Pour the batter.
Microwave( closed ) at 80% power for 6 minutes.
Once cooked, pour half cup water on top of it and cover again.
After 5 minutes slice them in your desired shape.
Sprinkle the seasoning on top.
Serve hot with tomato sauce.
