Well.. My Mil told me Rawa puttu is also a tasty bf menu...!!!!
I was in surprise and decided to check for the taste.
To be frank in opinion this rawa puttu is just a difference of taste.
I still vote for the rice puttu.
Ingredients:
Sooji Rawa ( roasted ) - 2 cups
Grated Coconut - Half cup
Salt - to taste.
Method:
Add salt to the rawa and sprinkle little water and make like bread crumbs texture.
Take the Puttu Steaming Pot...
Alternate the rawa crumbs and coconut as you do for the rice flour puttu.
Steam enough, say for 20 mins.
Enoy with Kadala Curry ( I prefer that way)
