Bisi bisi BelaBath :-)










Hello Everyone
Want a full meal menu but not in the right mood to cook??

Then the answer is Bisibelabath, atleast according to me.

Ingredients Reqd:

Small onions - Handful
Vegetables - cut as little big ones ( brinjal, carrot, beans)
Rice - 1 cup
Toor Dal - 3/4th cup

Cook all the above ingredients together adding salt and turmeric powder.
Approx, say, 4 and half cups water will be reqd.

To Dry Roast:

Urad dal - 1 sp
Bengal Dal - 1sp
Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 sp
Red chillies- 6, 7 nos
Coreander seeds - 2 sp
Grated coconut - 3 sp

Dry roast all the above ingredients.
And grind them to a coarse powder.( no water should be added while grinding)
Need them as fine powder.

Soak a big lime size tamarind in warm water and take its extract.

Now coming to the complete portion:

Along with the cooked rice and vegs, add the grinded powder and tamarind extract.
Allow to cook for some 15more mins.

Saute mustard, curry leaves and season on the dish.
As well add the chopped coreander leaves.

A full course Bisibelabath is ready. Eat with pappads..
 

Baby Aloos!!!!


Ah yes.. Aloos are all time favs for tummy as well hands.. to eat as well to cook i mean...
So wats in here???

Baby Aloo Fry
Ingredients Reqd:

Boiled baby aloos- 1 cup
Mustard Seeds - 1/4 sp
Urad seeds - 1/4 sp
Fenugreek powder - 1/4 sp
Red chilli powder - 1sp
Jeera powder - 1/2 sp
Curry leaves- few chopped

Method

Saute all the above mentioned seeds.
Add boiled baby aloos (hope the salt added while boiling)
Add the powders and keep frying
Add the curry leaves..
Wow.. a quick n yummy fy ready for your lunch.

Easy Side Dish For Variety Rice

Ingredients Required:
Eggs - 2
Curry Leaves - Handful
Garlic - 2 Nos
Green Chilli - 1
Pepper - 1sp
Salt - As reqd
Turmeric - 1/4sp

Process:

Boil the eggs. Make slight slits on the boiled eggs.
Saute finely chopped curry leaves, garlic and green chilli.
Add in the eggs, pepper, salt, turmeric.
Dry roast them till the eggs go brownish...

Snack ready to side dish with your variety rice.....
