Parupu Keerai Masiyal

Yummy masiyal in less than half hour :-)




Ingredients:
Toor Dal - 1/4 cup
Small Onions - Few
Green Chillies - Few
Cumin Seeds - Few
Garlic - Few
Red Chilles - Few
Arai Keerai - 1/4 Cup
Tamarind - Small size
Method:
Boil the dal and keerai together with enough salt and turmeric powder.


Place a kadai and season the onions, green chillies, cumin seeds, after spluttering the mustard seeds.
Add in the Dal Keerai mixture.



Pour in the Tamarind water.
Allow for 1 boil.

The mild Parupu Keerai masiyal is a good combination for Chapathis, And if you prefer, then for Rice as well.
