Mushroom Murgh Biryani


A colorful  tasty Biryani.





Grab few Mushrooms and half of a Carrot. A medium size Onion, 1 tbsp of red Chilli Powder,
1/2 tsp of Jeera Powder, 1/4 tsp of Coreander Powder, 1/2 tsp of Garam Masala Powder.

Wash the mushrooms thoroughly and soak in warm water to rinse away the impurities.
Combine finely chopped mushrooms & finely chopped onions, carrot along with 1tsp of ginger-garlic
paste and cook for 5 minutes.
Add all the dry powders, salt and mint leaves and coreander leaves and cook again for 10 more minutes.
Keep aside.



Take a cup of Basmati rice, few Saffron strands, all kinds of Dry Spices, 1tbsp Ghee.

Soak the rice for 1 hr.
In a pan, add ghee and saute the rice for 2 minutes.
Add 2 cups of water, the spices, saffron strands.
Add salt to taste.
Cook for 8 minutes.

Fry finely chopped onions.

Take a Oven safe vessel.
Grease the vessel and layer the rice.
On top add in the masala and fried onions.
Again layer of rice, masala & fried onions.
Cook in oven for 5 minutes.
Garnish & serve hot.
